Skullcandy ‘Find your frequency’ 12-month campaign

Frequency isn’t just about sound. It’s also about tuning into your own personal truth through passion, ambition and connection. At Skullcandy, we want to celerate those finding their own frequencies and encourage others to find theirs. So for 2022, that’s our mission. From music to action sports, from creating art to advocating for important causes, we’ll connect to our consumers by helping them not only Find Their Frequency, but raise it, too.

Rooted in a desire to empower fans to connect with and express their authentic selves, this campaign spotlighted monthly "Frequencies" — such as Connection, Expression, Creativity and Play — and celebrated each one through exclusive music performances, limited product drops, athlete collaborations, social causes and more.

  • Music: Full-length music videos, complete with striking visuals made up of unique backdrops and bold color palettes, will be released monthly to bring each "Frequency" to life. The videos were accompanied by artist interviews grounded in personal truth exploration, behind-the-scenes content, lifestyle imagery, giveaways and more.

  • Board sports: Ambassadors like Zeb Powell, Vasu Sojitra, Marbie Miller and Hannah Eddy shared what it means to tune into their own frequencies, with more multifaceted personalities set to dive into how they live out their passions.

  • The arts: Artist spotlights, limited product collaborations and giveaways were also featured as part of the campaign.
